Pomodoro timer
Work in focused sprints separated by short breaks, with a longer break after every few rounds. A gentle chime sounds when each session ends, so you can look away from the clock. The countdown keeps accurate time even in a background tab, and everything runs in your browser.

What this does
The Pomodoro Technique splits work into fixed sprints — classically 25 minutes — each followed by a 5-minute break, with a longer 15-minute break after every fourth sprint. The fixed length is the point: it's short enough to start without dread and long enough to make progress, and the breaks keep you fresh. Adjust the focus, break, and round lengths above to fit your own rhythm.
The end-of-session sound is a soft, bell-like chime built with the Web Audio API — no jarring alarm, so it nudges rather than startles. A rising tone marks the end of a break (back to work); a gentler falling tone marks the end of a focus sprint (time to rest). The timer counts down against the real clock, so leaving the tab in the background or locking the screen won't make it drift.
